Westville Ride

What: Westville Ride
Dates: August 21st, 2008 and occurs every month on the third Thursday of the month.
Time: 6:30 PM
Location: Mitchell Library Parking Lot-Harrison St.

The Westville Ride is a monthly event leaving from the Mitchell Library parking lot on Harrison St. on the third Thursday of each month.

The route will be down Harrison, east on Fountain and then Whalley.
Then we will go through the park on the path that is closed to cars.
We will then either take the shortcut to Edgewood Ave. just before
the bridge, or continue on until the end. Either way, we will
proceed west on Edgewood and ride through Westville. Eventually,
we'll make our way to Dayton Street Apizza at the corner of Whalley
and Dayton Streets.

Night Ice Cream Ride!

DATE: Sept. 1st

WHERE: New Haven Green Flagpole

WHEN: 5:30 PM

Ice cream rides are a casual, social, slow-moderate paced ride suitable for all ages. There are no organizers or sponsors.

Rides are typically 5-10 miles in each direction, going to a famous ice cream destination along the shoreline in West Haven or East Haven, or wooded areas inland in Hamden or New Haven. Rides occur rain or shine and typically attract between 10 and 40 participants.

Night Canal Ride

DATE: Aug. 31st

WHERE: Farmington Canal Rail Trail

WHEN: 5:30 PM

Get your winter training miles in with a +/- 30 mile ride on the Farmington Canal Rail Trail. Meet at the new Cafe Romeo on Orange St. at 5:30. Pace can vary with a couple of different groups forming. Dress warm. Front and rear lights are a MUST for your own safety and that of your fellow riders.
